Kubla’s is a beautifully and comfortably refurbished Sprite caravan tucked into a grove of trees and shrubs south of the camping sites. It sits under a corrugated iron roofed shelter and has an adjacent roofed outside sitting area with beautiful views of the mountains to the west.

What Kubla’s has to offer:

• When you step into the caravan there is a small patio suite of a table and two chairs. There is a comfortable bench couch which can easily be used to sleep on.
• In the middle of the caravan is a tall cupboard with shelves for clothing and next to it a bar fridge with microwave, kettle, cutlery and utensil drawer.
• Opposite this is the 2-plate gas stove with small oven and grill and on the right of this is a small sink with a cold tap. Above the stove and sink and below the sink are storage cupboards where the crockery, glasses, pots and pans and other cooking utensils are kept. And space for groceries. The cooking utensils are basic and should you need something special to cook with, like a poitjie pot, you must bring your own.
• Beyond this central area is the bedroom. There is a double bed, linen provided, with windows at the head and the sides of the bed giving lots of light and air. Curtains on every window.
• The caravan is electrified and is fully equipped for self-catering.
• There is a separate toilet and shower a few meters from the caravan. It is electrified and water-heated by a gas geyser.
• There is a small portable braai and there is a fireplace on the ground in the braai area. A reasonable amount of firewood is provided – N.B. bring your own firelighters and matches. There is more wood available for purchase at the woodshed behind the ablutions of Sam’s and William’s site.
• Free, uncapped WiFi – no password.
